I am a highly motivated and creative person that enjoys solving design problems and learning new skills.

I started my career as an illustrator for a full-service advertising studio on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. I then worked for a toy design company and helped sell a few toy lines to Hasbro and Playskool.

I soon realized that computers were the future of commercial design and I set a goal to develop my computer skills. I learned how to use graphic design software and worked for many years as a print designer.

While at Wolters Kluwer, I advanced to web design and finally to user experience design.

On a personal note, I played keyboards and sang in several alt-rock bands over the years and I still enjoy writing and recording original music on my computer. I also enjoy boating and fishing and try to get out on the water as much as possible.
